I believe that the stories you don't talk about are so important.

Whether it's stories you’ve believed about yourself without question, the unsaid thoughts and feelings between you and your partner, or the untold stories in your family, the path towards change begins with sharing these stories with someone.

When we share, it allows us to face these stories and how they serve or don’t serve us, and we no longer need to distract ourselves from them.

If you’re ready to share your stories, I’m here to listen.

As your therapist, I’ll never ask you to do anything I haven’t done myself.

We are all human. When you come to see me, we will connect person-to-person. There will be moments where you feel challenged and I will be there to guide you and support you, not tell you how you should or shouldn’t feel or act.

Your time will be 100% all about you (how’s that for a change?), and I will bring my extensive training and professional knowledge and my own lived experience.

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
— Maya Angelou

I want to help you create a strong foundation to achieve your goals in life.

We will work together to help you make sense of your experience of yourself and others. My primary approach is Emotionally Focused Therapy, which draws from attachment and family systems theory, and experiential and humanistic therapy.

I work with you collaboratively to understand your unique goals. Many of my clients have been through challenging experiences in life, so I have a carefully honed skill for monitoring and balancing the pace of the work.

A few things about my professional background & training.

My years experience in helping clients with addictions has led me to see that much of the treatment didn’t get to the issue's root. So much of addiction has to do with relationships and how we are wired for connection with others. This is what brought me to EFT.

Here’s a little about my professional training history:

  • MSW from Simmons University School of Social Work

  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in MA and (LCSW) NH

  • Extensive training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)

  • Member ICEEFT and NEEFT

  • Background as a Registered Nurse

When you’re ready to get started, I’m here to support you.
